Blacktop Motorsport has been in business since 2005.
We have been working on scooters for
around 3 years prior to its establishment. We were primarily car mechanics, but
occasionally we would fix a couple scooters here and there. As the demand for scooters
became greater so did the demand for good mechanics or should I say any
mechanics. We decided to put our business online because we found that it was
very easy to buy one of these scooters for a low price but the dealers selling
the bikes just wanted to make the money but neglect the customer after the
credit card cleared. This is where
we come in.
Of course we want to make money but that isn't all there is to
this business. These scooters have great potential to be a very reliable,
alternate means of transportation, especially in this day of high gas
prices. I am here to educate the buyer. Inform them on how to take care of their
scooter from the lift gate on the delivery truck to test day and beyond. We
have been working on these scooters long enough to know how to prevent
problems. This is why we only sell the best brand scooters. Simply put we
have done your homework for you, especially the guys and girls that know
nothing about these scooters and think that because it’s cheaper and looks the
same it is. That is definitely not the case here. We simply disposed of the bad
apples and bring to you the best of the bunch, bikes you can enjoy and
ride which is the most important thing.
As it states on the home page ALL SCOOTERS ARE SHIPPED FREE OF CHARGE. This only applies
to the contiguous 48 states.
We do offer scooter preparation and delivery at an extra charge. See
shipping for details. We carry all the OEM parts for the scooters we sell and a
number of performance upgrades for the GY6 based scooters. All of our scooters are
DOT/EPA approved and are street legal. Some states do require
registration of 49cc scooters so please check local laws. All scooters above
49cc need to be registered and operated by a license rider again please check
your local laws.
